Haven for the Heartbroken

someday...

Now, the problem most people see with "Christianity" is that so many Christians that they know are extremely judgmental.  Christianity is about accepting people the way they are, and helping them.  As a Christian, broken down, forgetting the "religion" part of it, you can give up your guilt, depression, and self hatred.  The way I look at it is this, and if someone disagrees with me, that's ok, but if you do believe in God, and you die, and there is nothing after death, you lose nothing.  If, however, you don't believe, and God does exist, you've lost everything.... If you choose to look at the "religion" part, then you have to follow some guidelines: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind, and love your neighbor as yourself".  It's actually pretty easy to be a Christian.  The worst part of it, however, is that some people will hate you for it.  Some people will hate you if you're white, black, aisian, American, Christian, Mormon, athiest; it doesn't matter.  There are people out there who will hate you no matter what.  That's their choice.  If, however, you are nice to them, they might see how judgmental they are. Think of the Civil Rights movement.  It just makes them (racist white Americans) look like the jerks they are when they sick dogs on little old ladies who are walking down the street, minding their own businesses, singing church songs!  It will bring about a change.  Living a life of Christianity doesn't mean you'll be happy all the time, and I won't pretend it does.  But it does mean that you will have hope when no one else does.  It means that you will be loved when you feel alone.  It's worth it to me.

And now we come to yet another problem many people encounter: Christianity versus Science.  Well, logically, look at individual theories.  For example, the Big Bang Theory, and the idea that it all started when God said, "Let there be light".

Below are some links that I believe will help you to better understand the basis of Christianity if you are truly interested; it's a good thing to know.
